Based on IQAir data, in 2019, Indonesia is titled as the most polluted country after India. One of the biggest pollution sources is motorized vehicle fuel, which is the main transportation source for Indonesians. This encourages the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to develop environmentally friendly electric-based vehicles as an alternative to reduce air pollution. This is in line with ITS Indonesia Action Plans, promoting an electricity-based transportation system.
Therefore, ITS Indonesia plans to hold an International Webinar with the theme "Disrupting the Fueling Network: Electric Vehicles and Smart Transportation," which aims to raise public awareness of electric vehicles and implement an electric-based transportation system in Indonesia.
